Gregor the Magnificant!

Many moons ago, back when I was an undergrad student, we were given an assignment to take two animals and combine them into one. It was to be a logical and well thought out approach. Not a duct tape the head of one animal onto the body of another. I used a tarsier and a chameleon. ( I may yet redo it)

Fast forward to today... I was doodling and I started out thinking of Reepicheep from the Chronicles of Narnia. And then I got to thinking of Mr. Tumnus. Well...I didn't feel like drawing yet another mouse that could be used in an animated feature— there's like what a zillion movies featuring mice...so my mind started wondering into how I could manipulate the design and morph a faun into a mouse. next thing you know I started combining a ram with a mouse and voila! Gregor the Magnificant!

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping that all the work will eventually lead to a character design gig sooner than later...

I'm still finishing up a portfolio and I feel like there are still some holes in it...
