More boards
Here is the clean version of "Martha" which started out as the simple concept of a couple meeting at a restaurant. No script. No direction. I quite enjoyed implying the back story while propelling the plot. It's simple, but I think the emotional beats are right. Total time from concept development to clean art was about 30 hours. And I'll probably add some gray values before I call these done.
The next set of boards is a rough pass for "The Flight". Again a really simple premise— two guys meet on an airplane and discover they have the same seat...I'll be cleaning these up this week along with another set I have!

These are so well done man... lots of detail and planning goin on here. Its not easy makin story boards, but you did a wonderful job! ;)
No it's not, that's for sure! and the folks that do them really well bust them out almost intuitively. I have found that as I go the decision-making has gotten way faster. The key is making sure that I'm telling the correct emotional beat...
And you've certainly done it well!
Regarding your comment on my blog, no- I still haven't really gotten a call back from AG. I mean, I got an email saying that free lance work is not really open right now, but if and when they do- they would contact. Im not sure what thats 'really' supposed to mean, but I wouldn't mind contacting the person who said you knew. ;) Maybe you're right- a good word can go a long way...!
FANTASTIC work! Very clear story telling especially with the emotions and facial expressions. You really nailed these. This is something i want to get into next. Are you taking classes or just winging it?
Abz: Do you have a link that is just your card samples that I can direct him to? He's not the recruiter, but does indeed know the recruiter and at the very least way be able to give you a better idea of what AG may be looking for and possibly where your stuff may fit behind those walls...there are a ton of different odd departments in there...
Justin: Many thanks! i am taking an online class at http://www.storyboardart.org
