Every cover I've done for for Marcus over the last few years has had some intriguing challenges. Some because we just had so many ideas it was hard to summarize a moment, others because we were drawing blanks. With this cover, I think it came together so easily because For the first time we're repeating a character and a tone for the story. Marcus cooked up this concept and I giggled at my monitor the minute I saw his photoshop concept. So I gathered some reference took some reference of me and knocked out the sketch in an hour or so...this should be fun to paint!
